"Brian's Feedback Corner"

28 Sep 2007:

I posted a new GEDCOM file from Al Toney (Buddy).  Check it out in the GEDCOM download area.  Thanks Buddy!!

Thanks a bunch to Jack Childers for his input of both a GECOM and two histories.   Way to go Jack!

I have  had indications from several other researchers that they may have data to send.  Every bit helps so keep it coming!

If you have recently e-mailed me for information and have not had a reply it is most likely because either a) you are requesting information (not on my line) that I cannot address, (I.E. everything I know about your line is on the site (see notice on web page)),   or b) I just haven't got to the e-mail yet.  Sorry folks, I get to them as soon as I can, but I work full time and also teach at college a couple of nights a week.   With a family of six as well I have to budget my time somewhat.  or c)   Your e-mail simply got lost!  Please re-submit if you believe this may be the case.

General Feedback:

I started this site in 1996 as an effort to provide a centralized location for Toney researchers to post research information and trade information.  That's it's purpose.  I encourage everyone to use it in this way.  The site is not limited to one line but to Toney research in general.  Much of the information on the site does not relate to my personal research and I am not able to provide further insight other than what is posted.  For this reason, please try and address your questions to the researcher who provided the information as that is your best source for additional information.

I have been researching my Buckingham County Toney line for about 20 years and am stuck at about 1810 on Jesse F. Toney of Buckingham County.  I must admit I probably spend more time on this site these days then I do on research but always hope for the day when I will find the missing links that will allow me to tie into the work found on this site.

Please take the time to post to the site, your information may be the missing link for someone and hopefully someone else will provide the missing links for you!

Good luck in your research!

Brian Toney
